TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.

Everything in one place, including regulation, withdrawals, here pricing, and the bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
