TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
